School Holidays Activities!

Are you looking for some fun things to do during the school holidays with your kids? Well, you’re in luck! We’ve put together a list of school holiday activities that will help keep the boredom away.

This is your ultimate school holiday bucket list to help you create some memorable family moments over the school break together!

Going to Cannoli-Filling Workshop

This weekend, Cannoleria will be collaborating with SACCA'S Fine Foods to spread the Cannoli love through the Cannoli-Filling activity. This free event will be open for kids 5 to 12 years old and will run on Saturday and Sunday (17-18 September 2022), from 10 AM- 12 PM, at SACCA'S Fine Foods Broadmeadows Central. Besides Cannoli-Filling Workshop, there will be a face painting class as well. Bring out some happiness and come to this event to enjoy the first day of the School Holiday!

Plant A Vegetable Or Herb Garden

Keep kids busy outside and spend some time in the garden with this fun activity! Plant a few different vegetables or herbs that they can then help to care for and watch grow. Not only is this a fun way to spend some time together, but it’s also educational and you get the added bonus of fresh produce. This is great if you are looking for things to do during spring break especially as it’s perfect growing weather!

Melbourne Royal Show

After a two-year absence, the Melbourne Royal Show is gearing up for a return. There will be a lot of exciting rides and family entertainment to arts, crafts and barnyard animals. This year, we are teaming up with our sister business, That's Amore Cheese. Our stall will serve some exclusive dishes based on That's Amore's delicious cheeses and of course your favourite Cannoli! You can find us for the all duration of the show,(22 September Until 2 October 2022) in the Grand Pavillion, near the Showbag Area (Stall Number CW11).

Bake Something Yummy

What better way to spend some time together than by whipping up a batch of your family’s favourite treats? Whether it’s cookies, cupcakes, brownies or something else entirely, this is a fun activity for all ages. It’s also a great way to teach your kids basic cooking and baking skills that will build their confidence in the kitchen.

Movie Marathon

One of the all-time favourite things to do at home during the holidays is having a movie marathon! Whether it’s watching all the Harry Potter movies, a Marvel Cinematic Universe binge watch or bringing out some old Disney classics to introduce to the kids, it can be so fun! Make some popcorn, get comfortable on the couch and enjoy some quality screen time together. This can be a single-day movie marathon or a movie a day to wind down your evening.

No matter what your interests are, there’s likely an activity out there that will keep you entertained during the school holidays. Happy Holidays!
