We're thrilled to announce a series of collaborations with some of Melbourne's finest local food brands, creating mouth-watering flavours, available exclusively at Cannoleria for one week per month (until sold out). Our first delizioso partnership? The one and only Mount Zero Olives.
Mark your calendars for 19-25 July because you won't want to miss the best cannoli in Melbourne featuring the finest ingredients from Mount Zero Olives. Our signature crunchy Cannoleria cannoli shell is filled with luscious white chocolate ricotta, swirled with Mount Zero Olive jam, and topped off with a house-made white chocolate and olive shard. Buono!
Why Mount Zero Olives?
At Cannoleria, we're all about supporting local Melbourne businesses, and Mount Zero Olives is a perfect partner. Our very own cannoli specialist, Dario Di Clerico, stated, "We chose to work with Mount Zero Olives as they are a local Victorian business and why not support businesses like this, doing good for the community and supporting one another. It’s what we’re all about. Looking at the ricotta we use, the olives we use, everything is local so it just made sense."
Sustainability and Food Innovation
Cannoleria and Mount Zero Olives share a common passion for sustainable food practices. Richard Seymour, GM of Mount Zero Olives added, "There are lots of ways we’re looking at trying to be sustainable, but most recently we’re looking at the way we use our produce and making sure we use every piece of it and the olive jam has been an absolute winner, where we’ve turned a waste product into something that’s absolutely delicious."
When it comes to flavour, this collaboration is a match made in heaven. "When we came up with the idea of the olive jam, we always knew pairing it with cheese would be its best friend, so going into a cannoli with ricotta is delicious on a plate," Richard explains.
